2022 Lexus NX in Kansas City

Lexus models sit at the top of their class for many reasons. Between the aggressive performance, bold designs, and innovative features, there aren't many other brands you should consider. The upcoming 2022 Lexus NX embodies the traits drivers love and proves it is a model worth waiting for. We want to give you a closer look so that you can see why you might want to wait until the Fall of 2021 for its release.

Available trim levels of the 2022 Lexus NX include NX 250, NX 350, NX 350h, and NX 450h+.

Interior Features & Design

The cabin is a top priority for SUVs, and the 2022 Lexus NX puts the right amount of focus into it. The wide range of features ensures every driver can find what they are looking for. The sharp design draws you in, but the attractive features like Lexus Interface with Virtual Assistant, Digital Key, and Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are what really win you over.

Every design detail has you and your passengers in mind. The 64 color options and 14 themes of the Thematic Ambient Illumination system will fit the mood of any drive, and the cabin noise reduction system leaves road vibrations and other unwanted noises out. The heated front seats and optional heated rear seats keep everyone ready for a road trip of any length.

Exterior Features & Design

Lexus models are easy to point out on the road thanks to the sharp features and iconic design. The 2022 Lexus NX comes with a new Lexus logo in the middle of the redesigned grille, but it is still easily recognized as a Lexus model. The full-width blade taillamps sit neatly above the new script lettering, each adding a sense of elegance to the athletic body of the 2022 Lexus NX.

The 2022 Lexus NX is redesigned with a lower center of gravity. Upon release, drivers will feel the agility that comes from the change in weight but without lowering the powerful seating position. Many SUV drivers like sitting higher than a car, and the 2022 Lexus NX does not take that away.

Performance & Eco Options

There are multiple new power options for the 2022 Lexus NX. The standard engine makes up to 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The upgraded engine allows for 275 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. Each option gives you the power to enjoy your daily commutes and errands. You will have the choice between keeping the standard front-wheel drive system or switching to the optional all-wheel drive system.

The 2022 Lexus NX also comes with hybrid trim options. The 2022 NX 350h has a two-motor system paired with a 2.5-liter engine to make up to 239 horsepower. There is also the plug-in hybrid 2022 NX 450h+ that makes up to 302 horsepower. Electric power increases efficiency and reacts more quickly to accelerating than a traditional engine does.

Technology & Safety

The 2022 Lexus NX will have the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 range of safety features once it is on the market. Blind-Spot Monitoring is just one of many safety features that this system adds to your driving experience. Other safety features are available, including Safe Exit Assist and a Digital Latch System, to make sure you have everything you want for the road ahead.

Most physical controls are taken off the dashboard of the 2022 Lexus NX. This upcoming model year has replaced the touchpad controller and physical knobs with controls in the 9.8-inch touchscreen. Climate controls, song settings, and more are through the touchscreen system, upgradeable to 14 inches.
